Kishkindhapuri Movie Struggles at Box Office While Mirai Rocks
Guys, I want to tell you, Telugu horror-mystery Kishkindhapuri released on September 12, 2025, the same day as the fantasy-action biggie Mirai. Many thought this horror film would scare everyone to the theaters, but to be honest, the box office figures didn’t look great at all. Mirai completely dominated.

On the first day, Mirai grossed around ₹12 crores in India. On the other hand, Kishkindhapuri grossed just ₹2 crores. You can see that the difference is huge, right?
Kishkindhapuri had a lower audience for the morning and afternoon shows, while the evening shows were a bit better. But Mirai had great bookings almost throughout the day.
Why Kishkindhapuri didn’t do well
